Services and Enrollment Process

We offer outpatient substance abuse services including: assessment, outpatient treatment, intensive outpatient treatment, aftercare and individual one on one counseling. We are a 501(c)(3) not for profit business and offer significant discounts for individuals without health insurance who must pay for their own treatment. If you have health insurance they may reimburse you for some of the cost of our services, but having health insurance is not necessary to obtain our services. Court ordered or self-referred, we treat everyone equally with courtesy, compassion, and respect.

The first step to enter counseling with us is to attend an Intake session. The Intake session is free. During this session, many important things are explained including confidentiality, Client Rights and Program Conditions. Numerous documents are prepared and signed. It is imperative for everyone seeking treatment for substance abuse to have an assessment to design an individual plan for treatment. So during the Intake session we will schedule an individual appointment for your assessment and we will also give you paperwork you will need to fill out and bring with you to your assessment appointment.

There is also no charge for your assessment. During your assessment appointment, together we will determine if our services are your best option. If our services are not the best option for you, we will provide you with written assessment recomendations and refer you to a more appropriate provider of services to meet your needs. If our services are a good match for your individual needs, we will work together to design an individual plan for your treatment. Your individual treatment plan will determine how many treatment sessions you will be attending and how often.

You will then be ready to begin attending treatment sessions. On average, clients attend treatment sessions twice a week. It is our policy that everyone we serve must agree to supplement treatment by also attending free 12 step self help program meetings such as AA or NA.

The cost of your treatment will depend upon your treatment plan requirements, and your individual circumstances. As previously stated, we are a small 501c3 nonprofit business with very low overhead. Our cost of doing business is much lower than large treatment centers or mental health centers. We designed our program to be very inexpensive so that people without health insurance can obtain outpatient substance abuse treatment affordably and be able to pay as you go. For individuals that don't have health insurance, if you keep a zero balance and pay in cash, our sliding scale group rates range from $5 to $40 per session. Our average client pays $20 per session. All of our staff are licensed professionals, so if you have health insurance they may reimburse you for some of the cost of our services. But our sliding scale is for those who don't have health insurance and must pay for their own treatment cost out of pocket.
